Traded to Seattle with RHP Bobby Ayala by Cincinnati for RHP Erik Hanson and 2B Bret Boone on Nov. 3, 1993.
2003 Highlights:
Split time with Ben Davis behind the plate, getting just 316 at bats
Batted .214 with 4 HR and 43 RBI in 96 games
Matched a career-high with an 11-game hit streak (April 17-May 6). Also had a six-game streak and two others that reached five games
Hit .333 (18-54) in July, batting over .300 in a month for the first time since hitting .301 in July of 2001 (22-73)
