Acquired from the Texas Rangers for Luis Vizcaino on March 18, 2002.
2004 Highlights:
* Was one of the league's best longmen in his rookie campaign.
* Posted a 3.27 ERA in an incredible 96.1 innings out of the bullpen.
* Had a 7-6 record.
* Proved his value with multiple long outings in extra inning games and was the team's best reliever for much of the season.
Career Highlights:
* PCL Pitcher of the Year for the Sacramento RiverCats in 2003.
* Won a career-high 14 games for the RiverCats in 2003.
* Made his Oakland A's debut in 2003 and posted a 1-1 record with a 3.31 ERA in four appearances (three starts).
* Made his major league debut with the Texas Rangers in 2001.
