Acquired as part of a three-team trade involving the Kansas City Royals and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in January 2001.
2004 Highlights:
* Missed all of the 2004 season with a separated shoulder

* Widely considered one of the best fielding secondbasemen in baseball.
* Made his major league debut in 2002 and appeared in 98 games.
* Hit .272 with a .359 OBP in 2002.
