Acquired by the Oakland A's from the St. Louis Cardinals in a four-player trade involving Kiko Calero, Daric Barton and Mark Mulder.
2004 Highlights:
* Posted a 3-3 record with a 4.50 ERA for the Cardinals in 14 appearances (5 starts).
* Also made 21 starts for AAA-Memphis and went 11-4.
* Had a 1.77 ERA in September for St. Louis.
* Had a 2.16 ERA in five playoff appearances for the Cardinals. Won a game in the NLDS.
Career Highlights:
* Pitched on three levels in 2003 (AA, AAA, and MLB) and won a combined 11 games.
* Won seven games in 14 starts for A-Peoria in 2002 and posted a 1.95 ERA.
