Acquired by the A's in a trade with the Atlanta Braves along with Dan Meyer and Juan Cruz for Tim Hudson in December 2004.
2004 Highlights:
* Had a solid rookie season.
* In 83 major league games, hit .288 with 7 homers and 31 runs batted in.
* Hit .358 in 61 games for AAA-Richmond before being recalled to Atlanta.
* Had a 951 OPS for the Richmond Braves.
Career Highlights:
* Is an outstanding defensive outfielder.
* Hit .324 with a .396 OBP for AA-Greenville in 2003.
* Hit .303 in his first professional season for Jamestown (NYPL) in 2000.
