P.J. Phillips is one of the top senior baseball players at the shortstop position. Playing at Redan High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia, Phillips is the younger brother of budding prospect Brandon Phillips. Despite committing to the University of Georgia, PJ is expected to be drafted in one of the first two rounds in the 2005 MLB Draft.
